Started on the second round of Jerky today - I’ve got two marinades going now.
The first is my own brew - it’s a modified version of my last marinade. Items in bold differ from the last one.
- 2/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 cup of low sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 tablespoon of A1
- 2 tablespoons of liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon of cayanne pepper
The second marinade is a store bought “Jack Daniels” marinade of the Teriyaki variety. Found it at Target today and it looked interesting enough.
I will let it marinade 24 hours and see how it goes.
