Getting my todo list squared away for this weekend’s tranny install.

To research/find

• 3 clicks on converter
• Tranny filling procedure
• Transmission jack
• How to flush out old tranny fluid
• 4R70W shiftpoints/gearing tune
• How to remove shifter assembly
• Break in procedure?

Friday

• Jack up car
• Drain tranny
• Remove console and shifter
• Remove O2s and prochamber and paint welds on prochamber
• Remove lines and electrical connections from tranny
• Loosen longtubes/EGR pipe
• Remove starter

Saturday

• Remove dipstick
• Remove driveshaft
• Remove convertor
• Unbolt tranny from mount
• Support tranny with jack
• Unbolt tranny from engine
• Remove tranny mount from frame
• Get the freak out of the way, 150+lbs of AODE coming at ya!
• Swap over VSS and speedo gear
• Install SpeedCal
• Install new rear main seal?
• Remove fresh air tubes in back of heads
• Put it all back in

Sunday
