I managed to extract the final piece of the steering coupler outta the Mach 1 today - it appears that I’m going to have to have the four pins you see in the picture machined off so that I can bolt on a new rag joint. I beat on them a good bit with a hammer but they weren’t moving. 
Once I track down a machine shop or a new steering coupler assembly all-together I’ll have everything I need to having her back on the road and I’ll start daily driving the Mach once again!
