I put the rest of the car back together and went for a test drive and boy let me tell you my previous small leak has turned into a whopper with two oil pan bolts missing.
So… there’s only one thing to do… “never cry… modify!”. I’ll use this opportunity to swap up the engine combo a bit. Once Skrigs is done with my engine stand I’ll pull the motor, put it back on the engine stand and take out what remains of the snapped bolts out of the engine block.
While it’s down I will take the opportunity to decam the car a bit - the cam that is in there now - CompCams 280H (110LSA) - is awesome but it just a bit too radical for my taste.
I’ve got an email in to my buddy at Engine Parts Warehouse to see what he recommends - should be good whatever it is.
