Got a bit done today - not as much as we had hoped because of a few snags but we got past ‘em and hope to wrap up most everything tomorrow. The heads were put on and off six times I think - we kept running into snags checking the piston to valve clearance (which turned out to be perfect). We also learned that I cannot read directions and Sam is strong enough to bend even the hardest of metals.
Nonetheless, I am having a blast - this has been a very fun, very involved project. As you can see, we’ve got the block completely stripped down. Still a lot of bolts to turn and then comes my favorite part, the computer tuning.
