Been a busy last couple of weeks. I got to play carpenter and roofer this weekend. My shop had gotten hit with the pointy end of a branch and had punctured through the shingles into the roof, so I had to cut out a hole in the roof and fix it back up. It came out really well. I don’t consider myself a carpenter by any stretch but thanks to some powertools and advice from good ole’ Dad, it came out better than ever.
The ‘95 got a new trick this weekend — an electric fuel pressure sender. Now my computer captures the fuel pressure at the fuel rail so that I can make sure it increases alongside all that boost I am ramming down the engine. Good fuel pressure = no boom.
Progress on the ’72’s EFI swap is coming along. I’m down to looking for various small bits and pieces now. The wiring harness and fuel pump arrived in the mail. They are the two most expensive items of the swap. Next up is purchasing the fuel line and starting to really plan out the swap.
Kayla is growing fast. It amazes me how smart she gets. She understands “no” (at least when I tell her) ![]()
