One of those weekends…

Yup it was one of those weekends. One of those weekends you gotta have every so often. That weekend where you do all the stuff you have been putting off.

Friday nite Glenda and I had a nice date, we played some pool then ate at Whole Foods. I had the sliced beef and let me tell you that stuff was great. I’m all about some tasty meat!

After that we went to Barnes and Noble to buy some magazines and then chilled at Starbucks for a while. A nice relaxing evening… the calm before the storm.

Saturday morning I woke up early and started weeding the front garden. Mom came over (who is a LIFESAVER!) and together we went to Lowes to get some dirt and better lawn shears. We went through all three gardens and did a total makeover. Afterwards I mowed the grass and Glenda and I scrubbed the vinyl siding on the backside of the house and cleaned the porch off. That evening we went out to a birthday party for Benjy of TPS (a local Mustang shop). After that I lost a drive on one of my RAID’d servers at the datacenter so I rolled out there to take care of that. I ended up getting back home then having to go out again. Stupid computers!

Today was more cleanup and shopping. I had a tune to do this afternoon and then a tuner install for someone else. It’s finally winding down and not a moment too soon. I need a weekend after my weekend haha! Glenda and I are going to go to No Problem Raceway on Saturday. I am trying to round up a trailer for my car, I’ve got lots of unproven parts on it since the last time out and the track is about 2hr away so I want to have an easy way home. I’ve also got to get the rearend back into my ‘72 so it can be my backup car if I break anything. Regardless we’ll be out there, if I am able to get my car out there Glenda will also make her debut as a quartermile driver and purpotedly has a race already lined up with a woman driven turbo 05 Mustang! Stay tuned!
