It’s been a few days since the last blog post - been busy during the day and home resting my poor ole’ sore back in the evenings. I’ve been mostly unplugged from the computer at the house which is almost always a good thing.

We went to the doctor the other day and got to hear the baby’s heartbeat… pretty cool to think there is a person inside of Glenda.
In other news Glenda got a black Nintendo DS today.

Well tonite was our tournament - the payoff for all that practicing. It was also my first tennis competition ever.
Turns out we should not have signed up for the “Novice Plus” category because we rolled through all six games without losing at all. Kirk - because he is the man - even played left handed [...]

Was a bit bored this morning so I decided to try out something that had been bouncing around in my head for a while… a loopback Ethernet plug.
I figured it would be great for simulating connection to an Ethernet network… just cross the TX and RX pins (1->3 and 2->6) and you’ve got yourself one [...]
